Experience
Experience: Mine Speaks For Itself
I am new to the business, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have experience. I have experience because I’ve had to work all of my adult life. I had my first full-time job when I was 17. It wasn’t a very rewarding job, so I decided right then and there I could do more. I went to work learning everything I could. After 29+ years of working for Procter & Gamble, I found myself able to retire at age 47. While at Procter & Gamble, I gained 5 years’ building maintenance experience, 10 years’ mechanical maintenance experience, and 10 years’ computer systems experience.
June 2010, and over 200 inspections later, will mark 3 years in the business for me. It has been truly gratifying to have helped all these people with their home purchases.
Additional Experience:
- I constructed my own home 30 years ago. Choosing not to contract the labor out and building my family’s home myself allowed me an opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of building requirements and specifications.
- Received training from the Professional Learning Institute.
- Significant training in working with people and technical areas.
- I developed our family farm into 5-acre tracts. This required working with county officials, contractors and others to see this project through to completion.
- I have 10 years’ experience in home improvement.
- I am certified in Heating, Air Conditioning, and Ventilation from Central Kentucky Vo-Tech.
